SEOUL INTERNATIONAL INVENTION FAIR (SIIF) 2023 SHOWCASES GLOBAL INNOVATION

The Seoul Convention Center COEX was filled with anticipation and excitement as inventors, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders from 25 different countries gathered for the highly esteemed Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF). This year’s event, held from November 1 to November 4, 2023, marked the 19th edition of SIIF. Organized by the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA) and held under the patronage of the Korea Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), SIIF continues to be a global platform for celebrating innovation excellence.With the participation of 484 inventors and startups representing over 26 countries, SIIF showcased a remarkable array of innovative solutions across various industries. Spanning sectors such as healthcare, energy, agriculture, and information technology, the fair presented a diverse range of inventions that have the potential to shape the future. The event served as an inspiring showcase of global innovation and highlighted the power of human creativity and ingenuity.

The team of inventors from the Islamic Republic of Iran made a significant impact at SIIF by presenting eight groundbreaking inventions and innovations. Their contributions spanned diverse fields, including transportation, medical engineering, electronics, artificial intelligence, mechanics, and more. The Iranian inventors showcased their expertise and commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation, reinforcing their country’s presence on the global innovation stage.

Among the talented Iranian inventors, Ms. Mahsa Eskandari emerged as a standout, receiving the prestigious gold medal in the competition. Her innovative solution, which falls under one of the aforementioned fields, demonstrated exceptional creativity and technical excellence. Ms. Eskandari’s achievement is a testament to her dedication, hard work, and the transformative impact of her invention.
